Getting started

Create your account, find your way around the dashboard, the sidebar, search and the top bar, and see the five steps to your first campaign.

Find it in: Dashboard 24 steps

Everything in the app is one or two clicks away. The left sidebar holds every module, the top bar holds your account and a few global tools, and the dashboard is the first page you see after you log in.

This guide shows you where things are and what the numbers on the dashboard mean. At the end there is a short overview of the steps to send your first campaign, with links to the guides that explain each step in detail.

Create your account and log in

You need an account before you can use the app. It takes about a minute.

  1. Create your account

Open the sign-up page and fill in First name, Last name, Email and a Password (twice, in Confirm password). Phone is optional.

    Click Get started.

  2. Log in

Enter your email in Username or Email, type your Password and click Log in (1).

Tick Remember me on your own computer so you stay logged in. If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? (2), enter your email and click Send reset link. You will get an email with a link to choose a new password.

  3. Choose a plan

If your account has no plan yet, the app asks you to pick one on the Choose a Plan page. Each card shows the price, how many emails you can send per period and how many subscribers you can keep.

Click Get started free (1) for a free plan, or Subscribe now (2) on a paid plan and follow the payment steps.

Read your dashboard

The dashboard opens after you log in. Click Dashboard at the top of the sidebar to come back to it from anywhere.

A brand-new account also sees a Get Started checklist here with four steps: Set up email delivery, Create your first mailing list, Add subscribers to your list and Send your first campaign. It disappears when all four are done.

  1. Check the greeting and the quick tip

The top bar greets you by name and says when the numbers were last updated (1). Click the small circular arrow next to that time to refresh them.

The Quick tip (2) changes with your results. For example, it suggests cleaning your lists when your bounce rate rises. Click the link at the end of the tip to act on it. On the right you see your last campaign's open rate and your total number of contacts.

  2. Read the headline numbers

    • Total Sent (1): emails delivered in the last 7 days. The small badge compares the last half of the week with the first half.
    • Engagement (2): Open Rate, Click Rate, Response Rate (replies) and Bounce Rate (emails that could not be delivered). Switch between 7 Days, 30 Days and 90 Days in the top-right corner.
    • The bottom row (3) shows how many Lists, Campaigns and Subscribers you have, and your plan's limit for each ("no limit" means unlimited).
  3. Track real results with Converted

Opens and clicks tell you how an email performed. Converted tells you what it achieved: how many of the people you emailed actually said yes.

You decide who counts. Give a tag such as lead or customer to everyone who accepted your offer, on their subscriber page, with Add tag on a list, or with an automation. Then click Choose tags on the Converted card, tick your tag and click Save.

The card then shows the share of people reached in the period who carry that tag, for example "5 of 20 people reached". It follows the same 7 Days, 30 Days and 90 Days switch as the cards above. Click Edit to change the tags later.

  4. Follow your sending activity

Sending Activity shows how many emails went out each day, and how many of them were opened, clicked or replied to. The row above the chart adds your Daily average, your Busiest day and how many emails were Not delivered.

Use 7 Days, 30 Days or 90 Days to change the period.

  5. Use the shortcuts

Four buttons take you straight to the most common jobs: New Campaign, Import Contacts, Create List and View Reports.

  6. Scroll down for recent work and top results

    • Recent Campaigns: your latest campaigns and their open rates. Click View all for the full list.
    • Activity Log: recent actions on your account, such as campaigns that were sent.
    • Top Campaigns and Top Countries: your best campaigns by open rate, and where your emails are opened.
    • Subscriber Overview and Contacts by Status: how many contacts are subscribed, unconfirmed, blacklisted or reported spam.

Find your way with the sidebar

The sidebar on the left lists every module, grouped by what you use it for. The page you are on is highlighted.

  1. Know the main groups

    1. Dashboard: your overview page.
    2. Campaigns: Campaign (one-off emails), Automation (emails sent automatically) and Templates (email designs).
    3. Audience: Overview, Lists, Subscribers, Segments and Forms, everything about your contacts.
    4. Lead Generation: find business contacts with Search Leads, then use Saved Leads, Search History, Saved Searches and API Settings.
  2. Scroll down for sending and integrations

    1. Sending: set up how your email is delivered: Sending servers, Email warmup, Sending domains, Tracking domains, Reply mailboxes, Email verification, Blacklist and Signatures.
    2. Integration: connect Websites and use the API.
    3. Earn: the Affiliate program.

The menu scrolls on its own if it does not fit your screen.

  3. Check your plan at the bottom

The plan card at the bottom of the sidebar shows your plan name and its status (1): Active, Expiring or Payment due.

Below it you see your Sending credits left this billing period, your Contacts against your plan's limit, and the date your plan renews. The bars turn orange at 80% and red when you reach the limit. Click a bar to see the full numbers.

The button (2) takes you to your subscription. It says Manage plan, Upgrade on a free plan, Complete payment when a payment is waiting, or Choose a plan when you have none.

  4. Collapse the sidebar for more room

Click the panel button at the left of the top bar to shrink the sidebar to icons only. Click it again to open it. When the sidebar is collapsed, hover over an icon to see its name.

Use the top bar

The icons in the top-right corner are the same on every page.

  1. Find the top-bar icons

    1. Theme: light or dark.
    2. Take a Tour: replays the short guided tour of the main parts of the app, such as the sidebar and search.
    3. Welcome Tour: the welcome slides you saw on your first visit.
    4. Notifications: the red number shows how many are unread.
    5. Your name: the account menu.
  2. Switch between light and dark

Click the sun (or moon) icon and choose Light, Dark or System. System follows the setting of your computer or phone. A check mark shows your current choice.

  3. Read your notifications

Click the bell to see your latest notifications about your account and subscription.

Click Mark all read to clear the red number, or use the icons on each notification to mark it unread or dismiss it. Click View all to open the full list.

  4. Open your account menu

Click your name in the top-right corner. The menu shows your email and account status, and links to Credits used, Subscription & credits, Billing, Account, User guide and your language. Log out is at the bottom.

The Your account guide explains each of these pages.

Send your first campaign in 5 steps

Here is the whole journey at a glance. Each step links to the guide that explains it in detail.

  1. 1. Set up sending

Before you send, make sure your emails can be delivered and trusted. Go to Sending → Sending domains and click Add domain to verify the domain in your "From" address. Your plan may already include a sending server; if not, add one under Sending servers.

    See Sending and deliverability.

  2. 2. Create a list

A list holds the contacts you send to. Go to Audience → Lists and click Create list. Give it a name and the "From" details your contacts will see.

    See Audience.

  3. 3. Add your contacts

Open your list's subscribers. Click Add subscriber (1) to add one person, or open the Subscribers menu and click Import (2) to upload a CSV file. You can also collect contacts with a signup form.

    See Audience and Forms.

  4. 4. Create and send the campaign

Go to Campaigns → Campaign and click Create campaign. Choose a type, for example Regular Campaign, and click Create. Then pick your list, write the subject, design the email from a template, and send it now or schedule it.

    See Email campaigns and Templates.

  5. 5. Check the results

After sending, open the campaign from the Campaign list to see its report: how many emails were delivered, opened, clicked and replied to, plus bounces, unsubscribes and spam reports. The dashboard numbers update too.

    See Email campaigns.

Want emails to go out on their own, like a welcome email for every new subscriber? See Automation.

Common questions

Why are the numbers on my dashboard empty?

The dashboard only shows results after you send. A new account starts at zero. Also check the period in the top-right corner of each card: 7 Days only counts emails sent in the last week.

Why is someone counted as converted?

A person counts as converted when they received at least one email from you in the chosen period and they carry one of your conversion tags right now. The tag does not remember when it was added, so someone who already had the tag before your email also counts. Remove the tag from anyone who should not count, or use a new tag, such as won-2026, for a fresh start.

Why is the dashboard a few hours behind?

The numbers are calculated in the background to keep the page fast. The line under the greeting says when they were last updated. Click the circular arrow next to it to refresh.

I cannot see a module that is in this guide. Why?

Some modules depend on your plan. If you need one that you do not see, check your plan under Subscription & credits in the account menu, or ask your provider.

What does the Ctrl + K shortcut search?

Pages of the app and your own data: campaigns, lists, subscribers, segments, templates, automations, forms, sending domains and servers. It also offers quick actions such as Create Campaign.

Is there a mobile app?

No, but the app works in the browser on your phone or tablet. On a small screen the sidebar slides in from the left, and a search icon appears in the top bar.
